Wesley Walkers

Members of New Hope United Methodist Church, along with the Cheshire Methodist Church have again formed a team to participate in the 2012 American Cancer Society's Relay For Life.

We are the Wesley Walkers team. Last year we raised about $1500. We are hoping to surpass that this year.

The event is June 1 and 2 at Noel Field in North Adams. It begins at 5 p.m. Friday and goes until Noon on Saturday. Walkers need not stay the whole night. You can sign up to walk for 1 hour. Registration is $10 and you get a relay t shirt. Registration is waived for Survivors. The survivor lap is at 6 p.m. Many team members do spend the whole night and participate in many activities held throughout the night.

By signing up on line you have the advantage to email your family and friends to raise money and you can connect through facebook. You can keep track of the whole teams progress as well as other teams.
