Aluminum Tab Collection
We participate in the aluminum tab collection-recycling project for the Shriner’s Hospital for Children in Springfield, MA. Please remember to save the tabs from soda cans, some soup, or other canned items. You may leave them in the church office or with Karen Marino.
Founded in 1946, Church World Service is a cooperative ministry of 37 Christian communions working together with partners to eradicate hunger and poverty and to promote peace and justice around the world. Our church provides Church World Service Kits which are small packages of supplies assembled by volunteers and shipped to people in need around the world.
Created in response to the damage of Hurricane Irene, the interfaith organization intends to deal with both the immediate housing needs in the area as well as the more long-term lack of affordable housing in the Northern Berkshires.
The NBIAI is a group of people of various faiths and denominations working together with others of good will to find ways to serve our community.
