Advent Small Group Journey – Each Tuesday in Advent

We will explore the lives of Zechariah, Elizabeth, Mary and Joseph, and imagine how they accepted their role and their call as messengers of the coming Christ.
Cookie Exchange and Care Package Prep –
Sunday, Dec. 7After Worship we will exchange baked-yummy-goodness with each other and put some in some boxes for college students
Jazzy Christmas Carol Sing-A-Long -
December 14 at 7:00 p.m. – Purple Pub in Williamstown
The Berkshire Jazz Collective will accompany a Christmas Carol Sing-a-Long
Parent’s Night Out
Friday, December 19 6:00-9:00 p.m. at New Hope UMC
Parents come and have a night out while the children have an event in at New Hope UMC. It is an opportunity for children from the community to gather and to learn about Christmas through crafts/activities/games and snacks. Donations will be accepted for this evening, with proceeds going towards a mission project that the Children’s Ministry is supporting. Reservations are required and space is limited.
Blue Christmas Service
Sunday, December 21at 5:00 p.m. at New Hope UMC
Christmas is not always merry for people who have loss, grief, or loneliness. This Blue Christmas Service acknowledges the hardships in the midst of a time when people are “expected” to be joyful. Come and worship with others who can give voice to the hope in the midst of difficulty.
Wednesday, December 24 at 3:00pm at New Hope UMC
We will gather to celebrate the birth of our Savior through scripture, song, and words of hope.
Annual Holiday Sing
Sunday, December 28 at 7.30pm at Charlemont Federated Church
Alice Parker, composer and talented musical leader, will be hosting this holiday sing a long at the Federated Church in Charlemont. If you would like to attend with other New Hope friends, then meet at New Hope UMC at 6:30 p.m. to car pool to the event together.
